AND THIS IS THE STUFF I GOT FOR MY BIRTHDAY THUS FAR.

My sister, the one who loathes owls with every fibre of her being, both as an all-around hatred and also just a general crippling phobia, got me extra fluffy owl PJ bottoms. She told me it took a lot of effort to buy them, and I am very grateful because they are the best.

My mom got me DavidsTEA samplers and honey-sticks, as well as a book of tea-quotes which she picked up on the ferry. I’ve seen this book before, actually, and really wanted to get it but decided not to because I have so many books. I like the company, ‘Tuttle’. They published my favourite edition of The Book of Tea as well. This is really a great little quote-book.

She also got me an olive-green cardigan, but I forgot to take a picture of it because I’m currently wearing it.

The last picture is just a present I got for myself because I have not owned a good pair of wellies since toddler-hood. They’re very flexible rubber (not stiff like the other pairs I was looking at), and the houndstooth is a fabric that was glued over top of the rubber, as opposed to just printed onto the rubber itself. The whole effect is pretty neat, while still being water-proof.

Joe Fresh, $34 bucks. I jumped in ALL the puddles on the way home. They’re gdamn tall.
